Day 1: the main attractions
Starting from our hotel, just past the Ponte delle Guglie, continue to the Ca’ D’Oro Palace and take the ferry to the Rialto Market. In the morning: the Rialto Bridge, San Marco square, the Goldoni Theatre, the Doge’s Palace, St Mark’s Basilica, and St Mark’s bell tower. In the afternoon: the Riva degli Schiavoni and the Venice Arsenal.
Day 2: the ghetto and the islands
Dedicate the second day to the Venetian ghetto, the oldest in Europe, or to the lagoon islands — Murano, Burano and Torcello — reached via the Guglie vaporetto stop, 1 minute from our hotel.
