Choosing what to see in Venice is perhaps one of the most difficult things to do, due to the nature of this incredible city built on water. Many things are very close to our hotel and reachable comfortably on foot.
St Mark’s Square and St Mark’s Basilica
The most famous square in the world, once called “the most beautiful ballroom in Europe”, overlooked by St Mark’s Basilica, St Mark’s Campanile and the Correr Museum.
Doge’s Palace
Together with the Rialto Bridge and St Mark’s Campanile, one of the most iconic symbols of Venice, with many rooms and prisons reached by crossing the famous Bridge of Sighs.
Rialto Bridge and the Market, and the Jewish Ghetto
The Rialto Bridge is the first bridge built across the Grand Canal. A few steps from our hotel, the ancient Jewish Ghetto is an evocative and still little-visited place.
Burano, Murano, Torcello, and the Zattere
A tour of the three most famous islands is a must for a stay of at least 3 days. To end your day with an unforgettable sunset, walk to the Zattere Fondamenta along the Giudecca Canal.
